Exquisitely designed little paradise of a maison. Secluded from the town, it looks over a riverbed teeming with storks and little barley and wheat fields. The operators are so kind and excellent cooks. I hope to come back.

A good location for a relaxing holiday in Kalaat MGouna, Bab El Atlas is a guest house surrounded by views of the mountain.

We loved everything about our stay at Bab El Atlas: the location just above the river plantations next to an old kasbah, the quality and good taste of the house renovation, its facilities worthy of a four-star hotel, the cuisine ... and above all the kindness and warmth of Christine and Kevin, the owners. They are passionate about El Kelâat and the rose valley area, resourceful, and very welcoming. They made us feel like old friends after just one day at their maison d'hôtes! We will return soon, with plans to go hiking up the valley from their home base, hopefully with them.

This Kasbah-style property is located in Roses Valley within a 5-minute drive from Kelaat Mgouna.

We did a beautiful walk though a gorge with a guide from the hotel. We were the only ones there. Very special. About 2 hours (easy) walking. The views from the rooms are stunning!

We were helped from the moment we booked it. The host are very nice and will always give their best. Everything from the food to the rooms and the food was absolutely perfect. We would recommend to stay at least one day but if possible as many days as you can!

Extremely warm welcome by Ali and Nathalie, a fantastic couple with sparkling eyes and a fascination for the area. Ali is native to the region and Nathalie is French. The rooms are very colourful and spacious. The vues are fabulous, especially from the rooftop with 360 degree panorama of the mountains of the High Atlas, as well as the stars at night. We even had the chance to get a small explanation of the star system by Ali, a real expert in astronomy. Excellent Tajine with local products, very rich breakfast and outstanding service. We had a great time visiting the surroundings, the beautiful green gardens and the river area. Ali is the perfect local to inform you about beautiful local walks and treasures.
