We have stayed in Madeira in different places and this was by far the best one we have had! It was super duper clean, fully equipped and the host was extremely helpful and very kind and put fresh vegetables and fruits of her garden in the kitchen so we can all have them! They were delicious! I can whole heartedly recommend this stay!!!

Very lovely place. Its quiet and the views over Funchal are beautiful. The towels and linen were neat and clean. Its a detached room with very optimized use of space. There is even a micro and fridge with ample utencils. Coffee and cakes are also provided in the room, that's a very nice touch.

Solar da Bica is a cosy and tranquil retreat. This comfortable guest house faces the mountains and has green natural surroundings. The Solar features accommodation in rooms and an apartment.

I liked that it was clean, the staff were all very lovely and the food delicious. Tolentino was a lovely host who is very polite and always greeted us with a smile. Great location and amazing view of the beach and the mountain.

very grateful for the hospitable welcome, it was clean and cozy, we received only pleasant emotions from staying in this house, the settlement process is simple and clear, with good instructions. very friendly owners, and very cute dogs, who greeted us very happily. Nearby there is a convenient parking lot, a shopping center, a supermarket, a bus stop, various cafes, and if you walk 15 minutes on foot, there is a very beautiful observation deck with panoramic views. I sincerely recommend it.
