Wonderful house. The house is on the smaller side, but you can find everything you need. Nice bathroom, comfortable bed, airconditioning etc. Also there are two terraces that are enable you to relax and bask in the Madeiran sunshine. The accomodation is very clean and is well stocked with shampoo, shower gel, coffee, tea and fruit. There’s no inside kitchen, but outside there is a barbecue and a dishwashing station. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We were also surprised by Nelson as he gifted us fresh fruit like bananas and Madeiran custard apples. The house is situated in a nice, hilly neighborhood of Funchal. It’s about a 2km ride from the nearest main road exit or reachable by bus. It’s about a 10 minute drive into the city center and also about a 10 minute drive to be in the middle of the nature. Highly recommend to stay here whilst being on Madeira.

We liked everything! The staff were incredibly friendly, the view from our room was stunning, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious - especially knowing that the fruits (and more) were grown right on the property. We also really appreciated the indoor pool, which was a perfect way to relax after a day of hiking.

Very beautiful and clean house with spacious rooms and super friendly staff! Also it is perfectly located for the hikes in the area, there is a super market and many cool local bars nearby. The kitchen is also well equiped, spacious and clean - perfect for a home cooked meal after a long hiking day. The owners are super responsive, check-in and check-out was so smooth and well organized.

Everything! The host was nice and friendly, gave us a lot of information and advice on local attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, good WiFi. The village is very beautiful and tranquil.
