The guesthouse is very quiet. It is located close to the Arrabida National Park, to the gorgeous Cabo Espichal and to many beaches. The common space is beautifully organized, with a large living room where you can spend time in the evening or on a rainy day, a nice swimming pool, and a large garden. The breakfast was very nice, with fresh fruit, warm bread, homemade jam, cheese, and cold cuts (if you want: they ask for your wishes the day before). The owners are welcoming and helpful. Our room was large, with a comfortable bed, beautiful furniture, and a large cupboard. The bathroom was large and clean. We hope to visit again during the warm season.

This eco-lodge is set in the Arrábida Nature Reserve and features rooms with sea views from their private patios. There is a salt-water pool, tennis court and holistic spa.

From the check-in to the check-out, everything was perfect. The hosts made us feel like at home. The house is decorated with so much love and style and the breakfast buffet changed its menu everyday with home made specialties. We were so sad when our stay at Casal do Frade came to an end, because we loved it so much.

The location was great, fantastic view. The rooms were clean and good size. Yvonne was an amazing host. She was very helpful, accommodating, and gave great restaurant recommendations. Definitely recommend, especially if you're travelling on a budget.

Super location with beautiful pool and great breakfast. And compliments to the owner Luc and his wife who really care for everyone. 🤗 If someone plays Petanque there is a nice court and Luc loves to play. Also ping pong, billard and chess are available. Won’t be boring there 👍😊
