Great place, people, nature, food. 10/10 recommend this place. Seeing the snow and fog at 1550 m, I was scared about going back down the Vrsic road by car, but the staff was very helpful (it isn't scary after all, just drive carefully). Thanks! 🙂

The room is well equipped with all the amenities that we need. although basic but they fulfilled all our needs. beds were comfortable and reasonable size. kitchenette has a dishwasher and all the perfect amounts of utensils and cookware. cupboards were nicely designed with storage and making the general space clutter-free. location is so central that we are 5-10 mins walk to the ski hire shops, the restaurant, grocery shop. shower-room also very nice - hot water system very smooth. there's a window that can open which so useful to let cool air in.

Great location with a very friendly host. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The other facilities like the kitchen and bathroom were also very clean and were never inconvenient despite them being shared. The host is very welcoming and helped us several times during our stay.

We had an unforgettable stay at Rooms Barovc by Lake Jasna—a true gem nestled right by the serene Lake Jasna with stunning mountain views all around. The room was cozy, cute, and perfect for a peaceful getaway, surrounded by nature’s beauty. What made our experience even more special was the kindness of the property owner, who generously gifted us a free night’s stay as a honeymoon gesture. It was such a heartwarming surprise and made our trip all the more memorable.     This looks like a mountain hut from the outside. But don't be fooled. It's a fully renovated building with all the amenities and feel of a great hostel including a full service kitchen, bar, warm showers and really comfortable beds. Staff were fantastic with all of their local advice. Dinner and breakfast were very good. And those views are just unbeatable for a location accessible by road.
