the apartment was amazing! it was a spacious room, with beautiful view, a very comfortable view, it provided with a lot of kitchen amenities and coffee and tea for free. It had very minimal nice decoration, made you feel like home. Very quiet location, ideal for resting and sleeping well. The owners have made sure its welcoming, comfortable and homey-like!

The hospitality was fantastic right from the start – the hosts even came to pick us up by car at the train station, as we had gotten off at the wrong stop. Our room was perfect, with a delightful view of the hills, and everything was spotless and new, including the bathroom. The shared kitchen was also excellent, fully equipped with everything we needed. We absolutely fell in love with Štrba and this place. Supermarkets are nearby, and the station is also within walking distance. Truly a perfect stay!

Great double bed room with a kitchenette and toilet secluded from the hosts. Very friendly and caring hosts. Fantastic location, end the very end of the village and absolutely quiet. Comfortable bed, all functional. I appreciated to have the kettle available as I carry a flask. The hosts have a small friendly doggie.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Ubytovanie u Jozefa! Everything was perfect — the location is peaceful and just a short drive from Štrbské Pleso, making it a great base for exploring the High Tatras. The room was sparkling clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Jozef was an incredibly kind and welcoming host — he made me feel right at home and was always available if I had any questions. I especially appreciated the warm atmosphere, attention to detail, and the beautiful view from the property. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic experience in the Tatras. I will definitely return!

Small place with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Staff was very helpful and there is a Bistro where you can chill out after all day hiking. What I really loved about this place was a super spacious room!

If you are visiting tatri mountains and you are looking for a cozy place to stay, this is definitely the place. It's located in a small cute village right at the foot of the mountains, around 15-20 minutes from popradske pleso. We stayed in the bottom floor apartment, which was comprised of a bathroom, a big double bedroom with a very comfortable bed and a livingroom equipped with a mini fridge, a large sofa, a TV and a big wardrobe. The views from the apartment were beautiful. The pension has shared facilities like a kitchen equipped with teas and coffees and a cozy living room with sofas, tables and a billar table. There is also sauna and jacuzzi which can be used for an extra price. The whole place is immaculate. Regarding food shopping, the village has a small shop and there is tesco about 15 minutes by car. In case you get to the pension late, there is a couple of restaurants that offer delivery service, the flyers can be found in the apartment. We greatly enjoyed our stay and the owners are very hospitable and friendly, they accommodated our requests and offered some advice about the area. The village is dreamy if interested in traditional slovak houses and it has a small park for kids overlooking the mountains. We will be coming back during the snow season.
