We stayed here for 5 nights, it’s set in a small Muslim fishing village. This was my favourite accomodation and experience in Thailand over 7 weeks of travel. You’re staying with an intergenerational family (4 generations) with babies/small children to grandparents who runs a seafood restaurant and farm fish. The accommodation is unique, as it’s over the water on a pier and as a result is incredibly relaxing. Over five days we were immersed in the ebb and flow of village life. This was an incredible experience, very authentic, the accomodation is attached to the restaurant, we did not find this an issue or noisy. Expect a rustic bathroom with a cold shower which is refreshing during the heat of the day. The restaurant provided deliciously fresh, very tasty meals (cost wise the restaurant is medium price range for great quality, the delicious food was a big part of the experience for me). The family are beautifully, welcoming people. I recommend you have transport or hire a scooter in the village to get around. This experience suits a relaxed, easy going traveller that wants to enjoy the local culture of a Thai family. If you are noise sensitive it may not be ideal for you as it’s a fishing village and boats come and go out all day from dawn to dusk. The room is open to the air, mosquito’s are not an issue as they provide fans. They also have 4 friendly cats that are well cared for. They arranged a fishing trip for us and prepared and cooked the fish we caught for our dinner. Wish we stayed longer!!!

If you looking for a home away from home kind of feeling this is the place to be at. The food is amazing and the owner she's truly a Master Chef. I stayed here for five days and never left the place. The place is quite basic and but with everything you need. The shower is top notch and has warm water and if you have long and thick hair you're going to love washing it here 🙌🏽

All. We have previously stayed with Traeng and love everything about her little hotel. Super nice bungalows, clean and neat. Good restaurant, feet in the sand while we ate. Close to everything in the small town.

The bungalow is beautiful, and the bed is probably the most comfortable you can find on this island 😊 The owner is super nice and did everything she could to make it a good experience as possible for me ☺️ it is quiet and chill.

Everything!! Phenomenal. The owner Kitima and her staff went above and beyond. We had the bungalow on the beach, was highlight of our trip. They had great scooters to rent. They made everything easy for us, organising pick and drop off at pier. The room was very clean and beautiful. The food was great, had the best green curry if ever tasted. Highly recommended. Thanks Kitima 😊

We had an amazing stay at the Koh Jum Hillside Resort. Spotless and spacious bungalow with a great patio and a beautiful garden around. T and his family made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived at the ferry pier. We were picked up and also dropped off via tuk tuk and received little treats and water every morning. You can rent bicycles and scooters at the property as well. Any questions on sights, food or further transportation were answered immediately. Great communication before and during our stay. Thank you again for a wonderful stay! It’s certainly a home away from home we can highly recommend.
