The host Ake was just superb. He was available at any time to ensure we were comfortable. Located at a higher level, we had a beautiful sun raise view every morning. There was full privacy and safety. And, what we really would like is to come back for a longer stay; eight nights was just not enough!

Rid was an amazing owner of Lanta Para Hut. When we arrived he greeted us and offered to cancel our booking because we couldn’t ride a scooter. He took the time to teach us if we wanted to try. In the end he helped us sort out renting a bike/car/ and tours.

This place is lovely and just as the photos if not even better. The location is great ,just 5 mins walk to old Lanta town ,far enough away to feel at peace with nature . Hammocks in the open bamboo decked area overlooking the water makes this place so unique. Serena the host and her family are so friendly and helpful. She can arrange moped hire and bus back to the airport . Nothing is too much trouble . This is a real gem if you want to try a authentic fisherman's hut ,with the added luxury of air con in the bedroom ...

We came to the east side of Koh Lanta for a few nights to explore Old Town and the surrounding islands and were so happy that we chose Sweet Life Guesthouse as our place to stay. For such a cheap price this was a great spot that offered a large water cooler with cold water on demand to fill up your bottles before the day, a great kitchen for cooking in, plenty of bathrooms so even though it was a shared space we never once waited to use a bathroom. The areas were clean and tidy, the wifi signal was great, and the AC was strong enough to cool the room quickly before going to bed. Our family of 3 was in the 3-4 person room and it came with two double bunk beds. The owner and host, Maayan and Min were very helpful in taking care of anything you need such as bookings for trips, taxi rides, or anything else. They stay in touch with you via WhatsApp so they are always easy to get ahold of. The Guesthouse also has an amazing guidebook for things to do around Old Town and all of Koh Lanta. The market street at night was particularly charming and we had amazing friend rice at a beachside restaurant on Koh Por

One of my favourite stays in Thailand. Really nice family running it, good breakfast. You can rent a bike with them, they do your laundry and dry the stuff outside so don't be afraid that your clothes get smaller. They even clean shoes and backbags. Rooms are clean and have everything you need. Some of the rooms have even Hammocks outside. Restaurants and 7eleven are really close. You can even book bus and ferry tickets to your next destination with them. The bus companies pick you up from there directly.
