Second time staying here and it was as good as the last if not better as we had a slight problem with our passport and Pear helped us immensely. Thank you sooo much for that .Highly recommend this hotel

Staff was super helpful with everything. They took us and helped us with the doctor etc. Got breakfast everyday, they did laundry, and place is nice and clean. Higly recommend this place.

Beautiful spacious rooms, with excellent service. The hospitality and kindness of the staff but also villagers in nearby surroundings is like we’ve never seen before. I can say we’ve made friends and they will be certainly see us back at Villa Pateh one day. When we first arrived we really looked at each other wondering if we died and went to heaven. We had seen the pictures but the place was surreal as we walked around in the homely decorated house with the calm piano music at the background. As vegans the meals were something we were slightly worried about on the first day -when we found out they mainly served local fish and meat dishes at the hotel. (which I believe would be amazing for non vegans I’m sure) But the management were so kind and helpful that the next day they found delicious solutions to make the local dishes with tofu, tempeh, mushrooms and whatnot. If you want a taste of the real Thailand, want to meet local people and if you are interested in their culture and way of living then this is the place to be. I’d thought I’d write a book as review about how an amazing time we’ve had at this place but I don’t want to ruin other people’s first impression either. Let’s say it was one of the most surprising, unexpected and uncommon holiday experience of our lives. I certainly would’ve stayed a little longer to get to know some more of these lovely locals and experience some more of that simple happiness of just being.

It’s super cute and everything works well. Double bed is comfortable, the shower has good pressure but no hot water even though with the heat you don’t need it. The fan is totally enough because at night you always have a breeze coming from the sea. The person in charge is also very nice.

I had a wonderful time here. it was so peaceful and calm a wonderful retreat. Come here to find the real Thailand miles away from the other tourist traps in Thailand. This is a great place just to spend time relaxing or use as a basic to explore. San and his wife took me in and I was treated like one of the family and nothing was to much trouble for them. There is a small shop there which has all you need.

The location is right at municipal hall, town centre. However, it is quiet because located at the back of alley. The property is a historical building with artistic design. We are welcome by the owners with great hospitality.

Perfect quiet location in the city-center. Clean, spacious rooms. Great value. Do not expect perfect english, neither from me nor from the staff, who are very willing to help.
