Shaun and his wife Kim were very warm, welcoming and made my stay very comfortable. I was there on my own on Valentine’s Day and they surprised me with wine and chocolates! 🥰 My room was very comfortable and spacious with a super comfortable King size bed, sofa bed, washing machine, stove, microwave and plenty of wardrobe space. It felt like a second home. It’s very suitable for a lengthy stay.

Friendly and great hospitality. Comfortable, modern, clean and tidy accommodation. We had our own external doors so we could come and go without having to walk through the main house, but we were connected as wel with another door if we needed to. Our room came with a fridge freezer, kettle, coffee machine, sink and a microwave. Loved the swimming pool! Felt secure and safe. We had a car and the area was a perfect base and the driving distance to lots of different restaurants, and roads easily accessible to go to Cape Town Waterfront, Bloubergstrand, Cape Point or Winelands. It feels central to the whole area. Great accommodation and lovely hosts.

I liked everything, it was just perfect. In fact I ended up extending my stay and I would have stayed longer but there was no availability. The place is quiet and located in a nice and safe neighborhood. The room is pristine clean and nicely decorated, The bed was comfortable, equipped with electric blankets to keep you warm. There is a little fridge a kettle and tea and coffee that are constantly replaced if you need them. the tv has Netflix and the wifi is super fast. They would leave delicious muffins and fresh fruit almost everyday in my room. Such a kind gesture. They even kept my luggage in a safe place for many hours until I was ready to collect it. I will never forget the hospitality, reliability and kindness of the owners and all the staff of the Strandloper room!

We stayed in a lovely room up in the trees, clean comfortable and peaceful. Had everything you could need, nespresso machine, fresh milk and an honesty bar stocked with lovely wine and other things. The bed, pillows and sheets were luxurious. Lythia and Phil went out of their way to assist and make us feel at home. We will be back.
