Mr. Abu was extremely welcoming, the rooms are super comfortable, well-decorated, and very, very clean. He even ofered us a bigger room for free. The dinner and breakfast prepared by Mr. Abu's wife were the most delicious we had in Egypt. He also took us on a boat ride around Elephantine Island, showing and explaining everything. At the end, he also offered us a massage session... very relaxing! In short, it was truly a pleasure to have stayed at ABU Guest House. If I could rate them more I would because they really deserve

The host, Mohammed, is exceptionally welcoming and friendly. The location is ideal, just a short walk from the port and has a nice view of the Nile. The room was on the smaller side but it was well-equipped with good amenities that ensured a comfortable stay. Mohammed helped us with airport pickup, felucca boat rides, and transportation to Philae Temple and Abu Simbel. We are so lucky to have met such a lovely host. Aswan is a must-visit and we would love to stay here again - and maybe longer next time! Enjoyed every minute here. This was the best place we stayed in during our trip to Egypt! The guesthouse has a beautiful view of the Nile, with an amazing rooftop terrace. The atmosphere made us feel completely at home. Uncle Mahmoud, the owner, is such a classy and kind person—he welcomed us with fresh guava juice and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. He arranged a reasonably priced taxi for a full day to visit the monuments and even offers boat tours on the Nile at fair prices. The kitchen is available if you want to cook, and it’s easy to cross to the city center for just 10 Egyptian pounds. On the day of our departure, Uncle Mahmoud woke up early to help with our luggage and sent someone with us to ensure everything went smoothly. These are genuine, honest, and wonderful people. We can’t recommend this place enough!
