After hiking from Theth we searched for this guesthouse for a while, but luckily very nice and kind neighbours live there and showed us the right house. Our host didn't speak English and Google translate into Albanian didn't work well either. So there was a language barrier but it was fun. Our host called his daughter, who speaks very good English, so we worked out what we needed. We were lucky to be able to stay at this guesthouse because our hosts looked after us so nicely and we really appreciated their hospitality. We really enjoyed delicious dinner and breakfast as we sat on the balcony and watched the beautiful mountain scenery and pets running around in the backyard.

Approximately half an hour walk to the start of the hike to Theth, or it is also possible to take a taxi. The room was very comfortable. The complementary breakfast was delicious and filling. We are very sorry that we planned to stay there so briefly while planning our trip. The rooms are clean, tidy. There is a swimming pool for children outside. The host willingly tells us about his country, about the area, it is very interesting to listen. We went from Valbona through the mountains to Theth, so the host showed us a shorter route to the track, shared advice. He was considerate and asked us to let him know when we reached our destination. Great memories, we wish you success and we will want to come back.

We stayed just one night before hiking to Theth, but it's a place, where you can easily spend more time, especially in summertime, with the beautiful garden around the house. The location is perfect, because it's not too far from all the restaurants in Valbona and the local shop. You can also get a foodpack for your hiking, which is made 100% from homemade bread, eggs, fruit and vegetables. It was the perfect amount for us.

The hosts were incredibly warm and thoughtful, even offering us a free morning drop-off to the starting point of the hike, which we truly appreciated. A lovely bonus was the small farm on the property, home to friendly cats, chickens, and cows—it added such a charming touch to our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort, great food, and heartfelt hospitality in a beautiful setting!

Location is right on the trail for Valbone-Theth hike and stunning views. Meals were served 2 minutes down at their house. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. There is also a long walk to the hostel which is the start of the Valbone-Theth hike so just means your getting this section done before you set off in the morning which is nice.
