Location was great if your walking the valbonë-theth hike. The room was super nice with a cozy balcony. The room and hotel in general, was very clean. We had dinner there which was very nice and tasty. Breakfast was also good. Traditional Albanian breakfast which we have eaten in every city , but in a buffet style, which was the first time we had. This was especially nice since you then can choose how much you want of the different «dishes». The staff was also great, helped us with booking taxi back to shköder/tiranë. Very service minded and entertaining.

Lovely traditional guesthouse with clean and comfortable rooms and friendly host. Private open style bathroom was downstairs. Breakfast and dinner were great, dinner needs to be booked a day in advance (15Euro per person). Good location with private parking area - there's a new bridge (not yet on Google maps) right in front of the guesthouse so you can turn right onto Rruga Nikgjonaj once you reach Theth and avoid the unpaved road on the other side. 30min hike to Grunas waterfall, then a further 1.5hr hike to the Blue Eye.

Such welcoming hosts, provided us with home cooked dinners and breakfast and very knowledgeable about surrounding areas. Lovely sitting area inside but we ate outside in the fresh air surrounded but the mountains and stars.

We absolutely loved the stay at the Gjin Thana! The family is very friendly and helpfull, the guesthouse is located in the perfect place for the best views. The breakfast was delicious and it was such a pleasure to have a breakfast with such an amazing view. The dinner choice was great, with plenty of foods and everything we had was delicious (but have in mind that the portions are big). It was perfect.
