The balcony with the view - this is the reason why we booked this exact room. It couldn't be more perfect : just you and the lake! The sun rise is so beautiful, and are night you can see all of the village lights. You feel in your little bubble! (See pictures - they are all taken from the inside or balcony.) The room was cosy - simple but enough. It was clean and the bed (double) was comfy. Very easy check in / check out. Perfect location - you see the village (2min walk). Are next to swimming spots, and the coffee downstairs is the best!

The property is non-smoking and is located 21 km from Kaiservilla. Haus Trausner was charming and had everything we needed. Maria was charming and helpful. We were able to park easily and walk everywhere. A wonderful stay!

Host: Rosy is an incredibly and welcoming host who speaks German, English, Spanish, and Italian. She also provided us with excellent recommendations for nearby attractions and activities. Her unique Italian hospitality made our stay truly special！ Location: 20m away from Steeg Gosau Bahnhof. Very convenient, yet it's very quiet at night. Facilities & Comfortableness: Facilities are well maintained. The room and atmosphere there are very cozy. Breakfast: abundant and delicious, with a variety of options that catered to all our tastes. 15 euros each and needs reservation. Mia & Maya: Cuteness 10/10. Being cute is their jobs as puppies.

Skiing and cycling are possible within the area, and the homestay offers ski storage space. The host couple was so nice. They even picked us up from the nearest railway point which was so kind. The owner was really helpful in telling about good spots nearby and arranged a good breakfast. Nice room and the view from the apartment was so beautiful. Nearest station is Obertraun.

The building and the room are nice and cozy, clean and well equipped. The hotel is quite close to the railway station Obertraun, it takes just 10-15 minutes to walk. The road to the hotel is pleasant and flat. The hostess Anna is very hospitable and ready to help. Many thanks, it was a great pleasure to stay here!

Boasting a lift, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. The guest house offers lake views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. We had an amazing stay here! The owner and Tamara are truly wonderful and made us feel so welcome. The property is located right in the heart of Hallstatt, beautiful, spotless, and so comfortable. Our studio had everything we needed, including a small cooking area. We didn’t cook meals but it was perfect for making coffee. What really stood out was the generosity of the hosts, they provided coffee, fruits, even pasta and little food items available for guests, something I haven’t seen in other properties. Such a thoughtful touch. Hallstatt itself is breathtaking but also quite crowded due to its popularity. In my opinion, a one-night stay or a day visit is perfect to experience it fully. We traveled with kids and still managed to enjoy every moment thanks to this lovely accommodation. Overall, a true gem, we couldn’t have been happier with our stay! 🌸
