The location in great, because its by the Skadarlija street, witch is very popular and has great food and live music everyday. The parking is also great, its just around the corner.

The room was really cosy and clean, bed was very comfortable. We had our private bathroom and a small wardrobe in the room. The location of the hotel is great. We have not used any public transportation (except the oldest metro line), because the distance from our accommodation to the old town was around 20-25 minutes walk by the charming Budapest streets. The hosts were very nice and easily reachable via phone :)

Great place with friendly hosts with great attention to details. The room was not that big, but it had everything we needed, the toilet is on the same floor, the shower one floor below. At first I thought that having a shared shower and WC is not that convenient, but in reality we had zero issues with that, and everything is nice and clean. The shared kitchen is very valuable: it's very well equipped and modern. The ability to park bikes in the garage is also a big plus. The location is quite convenient, but notice, that grocery stores are not that close.

The guest house has family rooms. We had a great stay here. The owners are very welcoming and helpful via messaging. The rooms are newly decorated (open since may 2024) and spacious with high ceilings. Its so nice to have plenty of parking. Entry is well signposted but quite hard to see at night. After half a flight of stairs there is a lift The breakfast is excellent. The owners have searched far and wide of the best bread and pastries and there is a lovely selection of meats, cheese, fruits and muesli. Overall a highly recommended stay.

Situated in the centre of Budapest, 400 metres from St. Stephen's Basilica, the historic Chez Marie features accommodation with free WiFi and a garden. The property has inner courtyard views and is 700 metres from Hungarian State Opera and 1.3 km from Dohany Street Synagogue. Fisherman's Bastion is 1.7 km away and Chain Bridge is 700 metres from the homestay. Location was excellent, a short 10 min walk from the big Ferris Wheel & Deak Ferenc Ter (square) where the airport 100e bus drops you off as the last stop. Easy to find via Google maps & key codes all worked perfectly every time. Turn left out of the accommodation & you were at the Danube after a few mins walk with access to trams etc; turn right & you were at the Metro station after a few minutes walk, one stop away from the main hub at Deak Ferenc Ter, to head off in lots of different directions. Metro system very easy to use & cheap (download BudapestGo app). Lots of restaurants nearby & only a short walk to the Chain Bridge. Ghida was a lovely host, contactable & very helpful if you needed anything but otherwise left you to it. Room with a double bed was clean, spacious & warm, shower just right! Big jug of water left & topped up on request, some sweets, coffee machine as well. Own key to lock my room & a key for the outside lock. Even though in the middle of restaurants & a minor road outside, it was amazingly quiet at night, so slept very well! A lot of places are walkable from this base, Parliament Building & St Stephen's Basilica nearby.
