The property has lake and garden views, and is 29 km from Aussie World. Featuring a private entrance, the guest house allows guests to maintain their privacy. The location and setting of the Kookuburra Cottage was superb as we overlooked the pond and could watch all the birds - amazing view. Nice and handy to Maleny which was worth a visit in itself. Our hosts supplied us with a marvellous hamper which basically fed us for the two days we were there. The cottage was very spacious and well appointed. We literally wanted for nothing. Our accommodation far exceeded our expectation.

Rosanne is a very attentive host. During our stay, there was a power outage in the neighborhood that lasted more than 12 hours due to thunderstorms. Although it wasn't her fault, Rosanne was very responsive in setting up generators so that the food in the refrigerator wouldn't spoil. A very good stay at Rosanne's, we recommend it. Everything was cozy and inviting, and we could really relax. We spent wonderful hours in the pool and hot tub, enjoying the peace and quiet to the fullest.

Our bathroom was across the living space (I believe the other room is en-suite) but it was just for us and we had no issues with that. The hosts are so charming, hardly saw them, although they live up above so they are on hand to answer any questions.
