This was one of the best places we have stayed on our 4 month travels. The room was so beautiful and quirky and the people who worked there were amazing. It was my girlfriend’s birthday and they even went above and beyond and got her a cake and delivered it to our room. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Die Unterkunft Hostal Cultural Bertha Challapampa Isla del Sol parte Norte ist gelegen in Comunidad Challapampa. I love the staff who run it, they’re all kind and welcoming. They were very accommodating and allowed me to check-out around 1pm, because I had gone on a private tour in the morning.

This place is amazing. It's an historical Spanish hacienda from the 19th century, very well managed and maintained by Don Mario and his lovely family. The rooms are spacious, heated and clean. The view to the lake or patio are magnificent, very calm and quiet as it is a 10 minute walk from the town center. Highly recommended!

Beautiful views, lovely breakfast and incredibly helpful staff! The receptionist even booked our Isla del Sol boat tickets for us, and gave lots of reccos on where best to eat. Close enough to town to walk, but far enough out that it’s peaceful and pindrop silence at night. A very special place that’s great value too.

The host family is super nice and serve you a very nice breakfast. A bit of a walk up from the boat but you have to walk to all the accommodations, plus this one is super near to restaurants.

Das Hotel ist zwar nur über eine steile Straße zu erreichen, aber der Ausblick vom Hotel auf den Titicacasee ist wunderschön. Das Zimmer ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, alles sehr sauber, das Bett ist gemütlich und warm mit vielen Decken, die Dusche ist warm. Im Zimmer gibt es einen Wasserkocher und Tee. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und haben uns mit vielen Infos versorgt. Das Frühstück ist gut. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

The location was great overlooking Lake Titicaca, the rooms were comfortable, the facilities were great, the price was reasonable, and the owner's kindness was the best. I would like to stay here again.

The staff were kind and accommodating, they helped us organize a doctor (who came and collected us) and were very willing to attend to any needs or requests. Room was warm and faced the lake, with stunning view from the windows. Plant-based/vegan breakfast was fruit, bread, jam, tea, coffee, juice.

Absolutely loved our stay at Hostal Tawri! A beautiful host family, incredible views overlooking the lake, alongside a super lovely room that felt a little luxurious when travelling for a long time and was well equipped. Yummy banana pancakes and coffee for breaky!
