I'm not a dog lover but was attracted by the price, location and great reviews. Incredible place. Very clean for starters - no dog hairs, e.g., on the inside, which I had been a bit worried about. And to my surprise I really loved THESE dogs - magnificent, strong animals but also well-behaved and gentle. They're obviously well-trained and well-treated. I almost didn't go on the morning walk, and that would have been a big mistake - it turned out (like for many people!) to be a highlight of my trip. I'd love to go back in the winter for the sledding. Also, as all reviewers rightly note, the owners are very friendly.

Kitchen was fairly well equipped and beds were comfortable. There are different bedrooms that are different sizes so if you need more space you could book a different room.
