The Host and his family were very helpful and kind. The location of this place is amazing for those of you who want to relax and learn more about traditional Chongqing life style. The host invited all the guests for a Mid-Autumn Festival dinner cooked by him and his family. Just 10 mins walk, for me, from subway station line 6. The Apartment by itself is a symbol of tradition and modern designs. I would definitely come back to stay.

I spent three days in Chongqing, and this hotel is by far my favorite. It's designed in the style of a traditional Chinese courtyard, with wooden structures everywhere. The moment I stepped in, it felt like I was immersed in traditional Chinese culture. The hotel incorporates elements of Zen culture. Whenever I sit in the courtyard during my free time, I feel incredibly at ease. I also stumbled upon a hidden gem. It's about a 20 - minute walk from the hotel to Tongyuanzhiguang. Along the way, there are so many interesting little shops, and I got to observe the daily lives of the locals. It was full of life and energy. When I finally reached Tongyuanzhiguang, the view took my breath away. This 8D magical city really lives up to its name. The skyscrapers, winding streets, and the Yangtze River blend together to form a breathtakingly beautiful picture. I've never seen such a unique cityscape anywhere else. It's really mind - blowing! I'm really looking forward to having an equally amazing experience in Chengdu.

My partner and I both love the apartment. We stayed on the 23rd floor in the building next to Doubletree by Hilton. It was very cozy, clean and comfortable. The host was very friendly and helpful too. We found the apartment real quick since he provided all info needed. The location was also superb, close to lots of restaurants and walkable distance to subway line 6 and 3. Very convenient if you would like to visit Hongya dong either via Grand Theater view from the other side or the next station. Payment was made in advance via Wechat Pay and I got my refund immediately after checkout through Alipay. It’s more convenient for foreigner to receive money via Alipay if you verified your account which is very easy to do :) Ps. Water pressure and hot water was a huge plus!

An awesome spot with a Japanese vibe – I truly felt like I had stepped into the world of Kung Fu Panda! Even the Japanese-style toilet was a unique experience. I absolutely loved their cozy little bar, and the location couldn’t be better – right in the center, with everything super easy to reach.
