The rooms had a mix of traditional Chinese and modern style. Shower was very hot and comfortable. Beds and room cleaned everyday. AC worked really well and kept the rooms cool. Breakfast on the rooftop was Chinese with 2 types of noodle dishes to choose from,, sweet potato, eggs. They also got some toast and had just bought a toaster. But no butter, jam, cheese or anything to put on it. However, they clearly advertise that they serve chinese breakfast. So the toast etc. was just a bonus. Instant coffee, the powder kind. If you want proper coffee you'll have to order from Luckin coffee or cotti coffe using delivery app. All in all think it's a spectacular place to stay in Wulingyuan. Highly recommend

A recently renovated homestay situated in Fenghuang, Fenghuang Ancient Town Lazy Cat Riverside Inn features a terrace. With mountain views, this accommodation offers a balcony. The homestay features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Super convenient location. A stairway away from the entrance to Phoenix town, which makes it very easy to take a taxi, and a 5 min walk to Hongqiao bridge. Liù was an absolute top host; she recommended amazing lunch spots, the main must-sees and even went with me on a very late batik shopping sprint. The room is occupied by the massive and most comfy bed with a great view to the river - keep this in mind if you are carrying big luggage, there may not be a lot of space, but it is manageable. There is an electric kettle, complementary bottles of water, tea and instant coffee. Also, Liù offered a welcome basket of fruit! The bathroom was squeaky clean and toiletries were provided: shampoo, body wash, toothbrushes and combs. I wish I had stayed longer.

We enjoyed our time with staff, food was delicious and plentiful. There recommendations for food off site was equally spot on. They went above and beyond. We had a medical issue and they accompanied us to the hospital to be sure all was taken care of. We have never been more impressed.

She was almost a local guide and gave us all the details about Zhangjiajie, restaurants, taxi pickup point. And she also speaks English, wow that makes the communication so much easier

There is a lot of food downstairs or I can say, everywhere! The host are awesome and after u check in, they will automatically guide + plan for u how to enjoy urself based on the numbers of days u will stay. They even help u book all the tickets to the places u want to go even after u check out. If in between, u got lost or unsure, feel free to contact them and they will help u. Definitely the place I will want to return should I visit again. During check in, they even gave me fruits and on my last day, they gift me small bottles of China white wine as present!

The host helped us with plan our trip of Grand Canyon and National Park. We enjoyed the claypot resto nearby and went there 3/4 days for breakfast. The room is huge and clean. Towels and slippers are changed daily plus unlimited free water bottles! Also toiletries are nice smelling.
