We booked this Studio for our last day before flying back. We really liked it here. It’s the perfect spot for the first and last night in San Jose. Is super close to the airport but also quite calm. The owners where just super nice and friendly. We even got some fresh fruits! We can just recommend it for everyone!

The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The whole house is beautifully kept and very well maintained. The host is incredibly welcoming and makes you feel at home rather than just a visitor. The Wi-Fi works great, and you can use the kitchen and living room. There’s also a lovely, friendly dog. The location is perfect close to the city center, with many restaurants and shops nearby. Alajuela feels safe and friendly, and I’d definitely come back!

I don't know where to start. The owner is an incredibly lovely person. As soon as she will open the door you will feel welcomed and at ease. The room is as shown on the picture and I had everything I needed to get some proper sleep before flying out of Costa Rica. It was super quiet and the bed comfortable (I like medium or soft beds). If I was to go to Costa Rica again and in need of a place in San Jose before moving on, I certainly will book it again.

Caladium House in the best weather! is a recently renovated homestay in Mercedes, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. It was a great option for us to stay for a night after arrival to Costa Rica before heading further to Uvita the next morning. Everything else, including the hosts were amazing too. Gracias!
