Dating back to 1865, the Landgasthof Birkel near the historic town of Herrieden provides modern rooms which are brightly and tastefully furnished. We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived. The room was perfect for us with the dog, very comfortable & warm as the weather was very cold. The dog was allowed into the bar area where we ate our dinner & breakfast which were both excellent with a very good atmosphere, locals and guests.
