Centrally situated in Rothenburg, this family-run hotel is housed in historic buildings dating from the 16th century. Offering free Wi-Fi in public areas, the Klosterstüble is 300 metres from Rothenburg Market Square. Location in this beautiful city was close to everything we needed. We walked to the beer garden down by the river, visited the wall city and it's historic buildings, and found a fantastic Italian restaurant which locals loved. Breakfast in the morning was delicious with eggs made to order. The woodwork in our room added so much character. Staff was so very friendly!

Absolutely superb breakfast service (11/10)! Newly renovated from the ground up. WiFi works fine. Supermarket just across the street. Perfect location for a lot of hiking. Easily reachable by car as well as public transport. Despite this being an active railway station, the trains didn't bother me sound wise. With the windows closed, sound isolation was extremely good, and even sleeping with the window open was OK (I will add that my room was on the street side of the building, however).

There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house features family rooms. The apartment is fully equipped, very clean and comfortable. Everything is as described, and the service is incredible. They arranged for us to leave our bags at the apartment on the first day as we arrived early in the morning and on our last day as our flight was in the evening. They are very responsive and eager to help and accommodate every need. The location is very close to two underground stations and also at a walkable distance to the city centre.
