You get away from the noise and chaos of the streets once you enter the lobby. The pyramids' entrance takes 5 minutes by walking. The breakfast offers a wide range of options and was delicious. Also the staff is very friendly and helps you with everything.

In addition to all the above, Dr. Susan who owns the property was the sweetest. Despite my error in booking a room, she was too kind to upgrade us to a bigger room with 3 separate beds without cost to us. She always cared to ask if our day tours went well and that she'd be ready to assist if needed. She made us feel at home and we felt the assurance that we are in safe hands the whole time from arrival and back to the airport. Thanks Doc!

Best bang for your buck, these guys are super helpful. The location. Is superb very close to the main drag and university yet peacful at night! Rooms are completely new. With a new, large yet quiet fridge. Nice desk and chair and built-in cupboards.. Would definitely return. WIFI was excellent also..

We had an excellent stay at Antique Pyramids Inn and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cairo, especially first-time travelers. Due to unexpected issues with my flight, I arrived in Cairo 24 hours later than planned — leaving my best friend to navigate her very first international trip alone. Understandably, she was nervous, but the hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure she felt safe and cared for. They picked her up from the airport late at night, welcomed her with water, helped her settle into the hotel, and even arranged a sightseeing tour for her the next day. Their kindness made a huge difference during a stressful situation. Once I arrived, we continued to experience incredible service. We booked tours with Maryam through the hotel — including Saqqara and the Great Pyramids. This was my third time visiting those sites with her, and somehow each tour keeps getting better. She’s extremely knowledgeable, takes great photos, and adds thoughtful extras that make the experience unique every time. She even helped us arrange a camel ride at the pyramids at a fair price. The hotel itself is cozy, clean, and welcoming. The roof had a breathtaking view of the pyramids — seeing them while we ate breakfast was unforgettable. The neighborhood felt safe and walkable, and the staff helped us find a great local spot for koshary and even assisted with arranging a vaccination appointment nearby. Also, the included breakfast was delicious and plenty! We also loved their friendly outdoor cats. A quick heads-up: there's a 15% Egyptian hotel tax not included in the online rate, which you'll pay upon arrival — something to budget for in advance. All in all, we felt incredibly cared for and truly at home here. Thank you to the whole team at Antique Pyramids Inn for such a memorable and heartwarming experience!

We really enjoyed our stay with Nadia, and even if the accommodation is a little out of the way, you can get to Sakkara relatively quickly by taxi and also a little further to the very worthwhile Red Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid. Every time you come back from an excursion, you have the feeling of returning to an oasis of calm. Everything is beautifully and lovingly laid out, Nadia is a great hostess and the food is delicious and the breakfast plentiful. We would definitely recommend this accommodation!
