We had an exceptional stay at Saris (and her sons) place. She is renting out two rooms in her really big and cozy apartment. Both, the apartment and room are super clean. Sari provides room towels, bath ropes and a hair dryer. Breakfast is included, which means in this case that you have access to a fridge with multiple options for a simple but good breakfast, including vegetables and fruits. You can also make some coffee or tea. The kitchen is very well equipped and you're able to use it freely and cook something for dinner yourself. Sari is really kind, patient, always eager to assist and answers all your questions. Additionally she provides great inside tips on tours and places in Rovaniemi. Her welcoming atmosphere lets you truly feel at home. Even though the apartment is not in the middle of the city center you can walk there easily or use the buses which leave at a 3 minute walking distance from the house. We can most definitely recommend staying with Sari and are looking forward to staying at her place again when we come back!

The room is really spacious, with all you need. If you arrive early enough you can use the sauna, kitchen is huge. The only thing that could be unpleasant is that you can't access the toilet directly from your room. Anyway the family is super nice and for me was not a problem at all.

Tolle Unterkunft mit allem was man braucht und den nettesten Gastgebern. Unterkunft liegt ruhig zwischen Stadt und Weihnachtsmann Dorf. Es fährt ein Bus, wir haben aber uber genutzt und sind einmal sogar vom Weihnachtsmann Dorf zurück gelaufen (ca 40minuten) . Küche ist ausreichend für einen Kurztrip und mit allem nötigen ausgestattet. Genau so wie das Bad. Alles nötige steht zur Verfügung. Das tollste für Familien ist aber die Ausstattung an Kinder Spielzeug. Unsere Tochter spricht immer noch von dem Hasen 😅 die Gastgeber waren immer! Erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Es war ein wunderbarer kurztrip bei euch. Vielen Dank ❤️

Our host was so helpful, friendly, and nice. The location is a pleasant 20 minute walk from downtown. The home truly is cozy, and the sauna is amazing.

Weniger als 4,6 km von Santa Park und 4,6 km von Arktikum Science Centre entfernt in Rovaniemi gelegen, bietet die Unterkunft Guest house - Northern tealight Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem... Super cute and cozy. It was clear the owners put in effort to make it a charming stay and we loved it. Our hosts were super friendly and helpful and we would absolutely recommend staying with them. I forgot my soap in their shower and they went above and beyond to meet me in the city center on our journey back south to return it. We liked that the location was a little outside the city center, but everything is super accessible due to the proximity to the bus line and the walking paths into the city (about 40-50 minutes walking). While totally out of anybody’s control, we got to see the northern lights the first night in town which added a little extra magic to our stay.

This is a wonderful apartment. Clean and spatious, comfortable beds. Excellent WiFi. Very kind and responsive host. Location is a bit outside town but there are buses and taxis available. Squeaky clean bathroom with heated flooring (much needed after a whole day out in the snow!). Coffee and tea available in the kitchen. We were welcomed by the host himself. There were small chocolates as well. The host even gave us a lift to the train station after check out. I highly recommend it.
