Die Unterkunft TaloYlläs, Huonemajoitus, die in Äkäslompolo, 37 km von Kolari Train Station entfernt gelegen ist, verfügt über Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einer Gemeinschaftslounge, kostenlosen... Couldn't have wished for a better stay. There are 4 rooms in total for up to 8 people with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom/shower/sauna. The host lives in the adjacent building so if you have an issue during your stay don't be spooked if in less than a minute the host shows up to resolve it, really awesome service! The beds are are really comfortable, after an active day followed by a relaxing sauna it feels great to lay down and wake up well rested. The location is also quite nice, not exactly in the town centre, but during winter it's a short walk from all the stores, across the frozen lake. And there's a bus stop at about 50 m where the "ski bus" and long distance busses stop (if you come by train to Kolari it's very doable by bus, I regret not doing so!). Also a lot of cross-country skiing, hiking and cycling trails nearby but be careful and check the map thoroughly so you don't get lost in the dark. Be sure to bring a proper flashlight just in case ;-) And I got to see the northern lights on my first night there. Would love to come back next year!

Das Kuerkaltio Resort begrüßt Sie nur 1,5 km vom Stadtzentrum von Äkäslompolo entfernt mit Apartments mit einer eigenen Sauna und einer komplett ausgestatteten Küche. Everything was perfect! The accommodation was fully equipped: sauna, fireplace, firewood, washing machine, dishwasher, and a clothes dryer! Everything is well explained! Sleds are also available at the reception! We had an excellent stay!
