We thoroughly enjoyed everything about Ravita...as soon as we boarded the tinny...and welcomed by Sele, Milly and Captain Simi (sorry if I've spelled your names wrong): We spent 3 nights at Ravita and had a ball. Our hosts together made our stay. Sele is a very experienced guide who organized everything for us. He's a fun guy, he's humble and he has a great singing voice. Thank you! Sai cooks from her heart. Her food is tasty and generous... thank you! Milly is fun and friendly...she has a crazy giggly laugh and we enjoyed her happy personality..I'll miss you...."Aunty......Milly" Male, thanks for taking Michael spear fishing. Kara, loved your fish and breadfruit, and thanks for putting aloe on my sunburned legs. Our activities: Saturday - beach picnic, fish feeding and Michael went spear fishing with Male. I snorkelled to my heart's content on Nanuya beach. My highlight was seeing several anemone fish and their homes, and one coral reef was 'clicking' lots and dazzlingly spectacular with its hundreds of little fishies. Sunday - a leisurely day of rest spent with a walk to the village before attending Church. Thank you for allowing us to visit and we enjoyed worshipping at Church. Your singing was awesome. Monday - out in the tinny for a long ride to the Caves for a fun experience. Loved it all, especially the papaya on the way back. Home life: At Ravita we shared the guesthouse with 3 other guests and 2 of our hosts so there's a family feel to the stay. At night the stars are shining bright and the frogs are out on the back lawn.

Towels and bed linen are featured in the guest house. The accommodation is non-smoking. We felt super welcome and well cared for at Tai Evi. Amazing food for all meals with huge portions. Everyone in the village greets you and is curious to talk to you. We got a fresh coconut cut by one of the locals and played around with the kids. We also went to snorkel with the manta rays which was an amazing experience.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. As advertised, clean , simple and clearly well maintained. Delicious and lots of food. Authentic , local experience. Excellent beach and snorkelling. Charming and engaging host who made the stay memorable. 24/7 electricity.

Situated in Savusavu in the Vanua Levu region, Latui Loft has a patio and mountain views. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The accommodation features full-day security, and luggage storage for guests. Candida & Grant's generosity of spirit made my visit to Savusavu extra special.  Candida had a list of activity providers, and she helped make sure the activity was good based on weather, etc. The place was clean and had everything I needed, plus a nice assortment of welcome treats.  The environment is serene, and you're close to town. The terrace was lovely for all times of day, to enjoy a coffee or drink and take in the views and nature. The outdoor shower was a luxury that I didn't know I needed.   They offered rides whenever they were headed into town and made sure I was comfortable and shared deliious fresh fruit from the garden that came ripe while I was there. Sometimes, a host is more than just a host. Latui Loft is a gem.

Spent two great nights enjoying my time on the island, went on some short walks to watch the sunset and to the beach on the other side of the island - lots to do and several activities on offer to keep you busy.

Sunrise Lagoon Homestay is offering accommodation in Nanuya Lailai. Located on the beachfront, this property features a private beach area, water sports facilities and a garden. The homestay has family rooms. There are three more private cabins and dorm, all right on beach. Facilities are basic, what you would expect on remote island but lice (not sure of spelling but pronounced lee-they I think)and Jo do allot of little things like solar phone chargers, solar lights at night. I was treated like family. Lice is a great cook, but again, food is limited to local sources.blue lagoon beach is wonderful (25 minute walk) and all activities are resonably priced, bring your own rods for fishing, and bring gifts for children or some preferred food from super

Yasawa Homestays is set in Nacula Island. Located on the beachfront, this property has a private beach area, a garden and a terrace. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, free shuttle service and luggage storage for guests. I stayed 5 days at Navi Homestay and everything was perfect. I had my own bure, which was very cute, facing the sea. Navi, his wife Emi and their son Ape were very welcoming. I had meals with them in their house and we went on several activities every day (cave, snorkelling, visit of the village). I felt like a part of the community. I definitely recommand Navi Homestay if you want a true fidjian experience in paradise !
