Really good food and a lot, they even cooked vegetarian for me! Nice activities, it never gets boring. The beach is beautiful too. Small room but comfy bed with mosquito net. Extra info because it’s one of the first reviews: We got picked up from the ferry by boat (extra cost), very good food provided for 50FJD/day per person, bathroom simple with bucket toilet and shower in a little shelter next door, no supermarket in the village so bring what you need (mosquito repellent and sun screen!). Solar panels provide power through the day and lights, but no fan (was not too hot for us). Covering clothes and no hats/sunglasses while walking the village, beach is fine :) Bringing a gift to the chief of the village is also part of etiquette.

Beautiful homestay with the best food we had on the Yasawas. The room is quite new, it comes with a mosquito net and a spacious bathroom. The location is stunning, directly at the beach where you can do SUP or snorkeling. The owner and his family were welcoming us at the first evening with the traditional drink Kava, it was a surprise and a very nice experience. There were also kids who enjoyed joining us doing sports. The only thing that was a no go for us were the kids lurking through our windows when we were changing. But other than that, we would recommend it 100%!

Yasawa Homestays is set in Nacula Island. Located on the beachfront, this property has a private beach area, a garden and a terrace. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, free shuttle service and luggage storage for guests. We loved our stay in Nabukeru homestay! It was a really unique experience to take part in the life of a Fijian village. All the people in Nabukeru village and especially our host Misi warmly welcomed us and made us feel at home during our entire stay. Every meal was prepared by a different family and brought to our bure so we got to chat with different people from the village each day. The meals were super delicious and mainly consisted of freshly caught seafood as well as different fruits and plants that are grown in the village, cooked with coconut milk (e. g. breadfruit, cassava, bananas, mangos). And of course we loved our beachfront bure with paradisiacal beaches surrounding us! We also got to visit the school in the village, play with the children, see the caves nearby and try kava. If you go to Fiji we highly recommend visiting Nabukeru village!

Jolame Homestay Experience is located in Wayasewa Island and offers a garden and a terrace. With sea views, this accommodation provides a balcony.

Towels and bed linen are provided in the homestay. Jolame and Marie are very kind people, caring for everyone and very welcoming to their house. We had the best stay, luckily for us we had two nights without other visitors and had plenty of time to engage with Maria, talk about life on the island and enjoy quiet place. It's located at the end of the village, tucked away from the resort, yet it's a short walk to the main beach, and you can grab a drink at the Wayalailai resort. Jolame organised all activities for us, no problem. We recommend doing the hike with a guide, not just for safety (I am sure we could do the walk by ourselves if somebody pointed us the right direction) but also for a good talk about the village and the place. Apex was a great guide and very fun to spend time with. Sweet Marie did her best to accommodate my dietary requirements, and her food was magic, thank you!
