It was super clean, very comfortable, tastefully decorated and Valerie was the perfect host. Breakfast was also brilliant. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

We were at Lyon during a period of extremely hot weather (the Canicule), the host did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Busstop just outside the gate. The metro at 13 minutes walk.

We went to some nearby vineyards for tastings. The rooms are lovely with everything you need. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the property one evening and it was delicious. They served us a beautiful salad, dumpling ragout & an incredible cheese board. Spending time with their beautiful dogs topped off the stay for us! NB. Not all vineyards open when they say. Chateau de Pizay is worth a visit, it does a self guided wine tasting for €10 - it is a beautiful property & you get to keep the wine glass
