A Home Away from Home The room may not be large, but it is cozy and impeccably clean. The homemade shortbread (complimentary) is absolutely delicious. The staff are very friendly, and Candy, who is as sweet as her name suggests, even picked us up when we struggled to find the house using the postcode. The location is perfect, just a short walk away from Crow Park, Hope Park, and Derwent Lake. Next time we visit Keswick, or if any of my family or friends do, we will definitely stay at Fellback again. The breakfasts were heavenly.

The location is very convenient, very close to the lake, supermarkets and restaurants. The main thing is that the room is very comfortable. You have everything you need. It's really great. I highly recommend it!

Breakfast was great as were the hosts. There was parking, which although a little tight, is a real bonus in Penrith. Lots of nice little touches…coffee and homemade pastries on arrival.

During our 10-day tour through England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales, we had the opportunity to stay in a number of lovely places. Out of all of these places, Brooklands Guest House was by far the most outstanding. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by our friendly host, and he carried our bags up the stairs. The interior of the guest house is just absolutely stunning. Our room was beautiful, and breakfast was in an amazing dining room filled with beautiful decor. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
