Boasting a garden and views of garden, Lucy Cross Guest House is a guest house set in a historic building in Lucy Cross, 43 km from Lightwater Valley Theme Park. This guest house features free private parking and a shared kitchen. The guest house has family rooms. Callum was a very helpful and welcoming host with awesome communication. The house itself is a lovely country style farmhouse and feels very homely. The bed was comfy, the shower was hot and the kitchen and living spaces are large and cosy. There was food provided for breakfast. The location is nice and close to several lovely villages including Richmond and has nice views of the surrounding country side.

All units in the homestay are fitted with a flat-screen TV with streaming services and with satellite channels. A beautiful home in a beautiful location, excellent views. Absolutely lovely hosts. They surprised us with a bottle of wine for our 3 milestone celebrations. The room is lovely with a comfortable bed, and a courtyard that we could sit outside to enjoy our drinks or even to do exercise.

We stayed at Floyter House for 2 nights in late April to attend a wedding at Danby Castle. We booked the master suite on the top floor of the house. We thought that this was excellent value considering it was like a mini Airbnb with a separate bedroom, bathroom and TV room. The tea and coffee facilities were really good. Charlotte was very accommodating and friendly, she even very kindly dropped us off at the wedding venue on the morning of the big day, which saved us driving and leaving the car overnight. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.
