Most importantly Mrs Matina’s incredible energy, responsiveness, warm smile and wonderful recommendations for the most authentic experience really made our stay unforgettable. We will definitely be back!

Gelegen in Hydra, 500 m von Strand Avlaki, verfügt die Unterkunft Onar Hydra über einen Bergblick. Everything! The location, the view, the room was clean, comfortable and spacious and cleaned on a daily basis. We received clear directions and videos on how to get there via whatsapp, so everything was well organised. Yes, there are steps up to the property, but we didn’t mind them at all., definitely worth it to have those views and beautiful accommodation. Unfortunately, we had to make a quick trip to the hospital, but Matina (the host), popped in while we were in there, to check we were ok. She really was amazing. Thank you, Matina. Can’t wait to go back to Onar Hydra again next year!

Postcard worthy view from the balcony, incredibly well designed flat, comfortable bed, and hearty breakfast at the café downstairs. Would definitely recommend and return.

Cosy and immaculately clean, 200 m from harbour, calm, nice courtyard. Very friendly reception by Mrs. Matina. Coffee making facilities, some cookies and honey and jam provided. Room is spacious, bathroom as well. Bed is comfy. Freezer and aircondition, but also possible to open the windows. We very much enjoyed our stay of 5 days in Manolia.

The property is in a fabulous location with a lovely balcony it’s in the middle of Hydra and a short walk to the beaches/cliffs. The staff are also lovely. It’s not huge, but that’s the case with most things in Hydra and it was perfect for us (a relatively tall couple).

Originally a wealthy sea captain’s mansion built in 1810, the Hotel Miranda is a fine example of characteristic local architecture. The old decor fits the location so well. The garden is also beautiful. It was a joy to have breakfast there every morning (and befriend the cats). The location is perfect - very close to the port, yet in a quiet area. We managed to drag our luggage there ourselves - it was easier downhill when we left:).
