We had a wonderful stay at Porto Kale Guesthouse in Porto Kagio. The location is absolutely stunning – a small, peaceful cove with crystal-clear waters, truly magical and unique. It’s incredibly quiet and relaxing, and the guesthouse is right by the sea, which makes the experience even more special. Our room had a lovely terrace with a breathtaking view. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Highly recommended for the location.

The whole place has a stylish Caribbean feel with warm colors and green plants and the small pools in three levels are perfect for sitting and having cool chats. There was no breakfast included in the (low) price we paid on Booking.com - nevertheless we were served a light breakfast for free with coffee, juice, sandwiches and yoghurt with fruit and honey. Much appreciated! The people running the place are very nice and welcoming.

Situated on the highest point of the seaside Kokkala village, 500 metres from the beach, the stone-built Castle Rizaraki follows the traditional architecture of the Mani area.

The hotel is just in front of the sea, you can sleep enjoying the waves sound. Maria and the staff have been really friendly: they waited for our late arrive and they prepared us breakfast early in the morning because we had to leave. The place is amazing!

I was a woman traveling alone and I felt very safe. I was skeptical about renting a room due to bad experiences in the past, but I was convinced by the price and the fact that the homeowner was a woman. I really appreciated that right after booking, I received a message clarifying that it was just a room and not the whole house, and that I could cancel the reservation for free. At that moment, I felt I was dealing with honest and kind people. Another plus was that I could communicate fluently in English. The host was incredibly friendly and very helpful. She didn’t interfere with guests' lives and was almost invisible. The house had its own charm, and the views around were wonderful. A shop and restaurant are very close to the house. The place is clean, well-kept, and you can really feel the Greek atmosphere – time seems to pass slowly there. I found exactly what I needed, and I will definitely come back.
