At check in the owner (i assume) informed us that parts of the hotel is under construction, and the hot water isn't working yet.

Very friendly staff, very helpful ! And the place might look a bit shady or poor, but you have everything you need, with wonderful people around you. Very safe place, despite how it looks like. And the private room had everything that I need. And the price is a very good price !

We loved our stay at Casa Mary! We got pivked up where the shuttle dropped us in town and also got brought there when we had our next shuttle. The family are just the nicest people and do everything they can to make you feel home. We will be back for sure. Oh and Olga cooks great breakfasts/lunches/dinners! best regards

Loved my stay here. Close enough to walk to the park. Fell asleep to the sound of the water. Food was fine as well. I did not hear any noise from the bar either.

If you are looking for an authentic Guatemalan homestay, this is the perfect place for you! Mary and her family are very welcoming and the food they prepared was great and well priced. The tour to Semuc Champey with her son David was the best!!! When you arrive at the bus station they will pick you up by tuctuc. Very handy!
