There are many prominent restaurants and cafes nearby. 🏡 We stayed in three different rooms. The rooms are pleasant, its spacious and its clean, with a beautiful touch of Javanese and some mix of Indonesian culture. 🔐 The place feel very secure and secluded, its quiet and a hidden gem in the midst of the local neighbourhood. Many foreigners stay there, which we met from Poland, US, UK, and locals. ⭐️ The staff are also very warm and friendly. We get to meet briefly the host owner, also the team of staff like Kak Lisa, Kak Nisa, and Mas Catra, who helped us throughout our stay — such as getting a car hire service, getting tickets and insights before visiting places. 🍛 It includes breakfast, the options are close to the culture of Indonesia such as “Gudeg”, “Nasi Uduk”, and of course, “mie goreng” — with a nice portion. The plus points is that they always provided extras like fruit salads, traditional desserts, banana bread, etc. through out our stay. 💳 Decently priced. We book through Booking.com and it’s very easy to adjust and modify. ⭐️ Overall, we had a very decent stay and definitely would love to come back again! Thank you Nextdoor Homestay team!

Boasting a terrace and views of quiet street, Casa de Vie Homestay is a recently renovated homestay situated in Malang, 3.5 km from Museum Mpu Purwa. It is set 3.9 km from Tlogomas Recreation Park and offers a shared kitchen. The homestay features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. The location is in residential area that is very calm, chill, we never hear any prayers sound. Their bed is really good quality, we really had a good sleep. We went to nearby restaurant, Sate Klayu that has good food and nice view, walked in the rice paddles near the area and it was very relaxing.. We took all the tours they have, Bromo, Tumpak Sewu and Paragliding which surprisingly very cheap and fun! The house is super clean, it has everything we need. The staffs are very attentive, always take care of us by WA all the time, clean our room when we are outside. They gave us earplugs so we can rest well although our room is in front of the dining room. This is the first time of my traveling in Asia, a local homestay get very detail by providing amenities like this… and they gave apple juice for free, apparently it is is the local famous drinks from Malang and Batu city. They told me they have Batik Workshop coming in but sadly we have to leave. Definitely a come back! This place is one of a kind, totally recommend :))

The other thing I like on my stay here is I can meet other travelers from various place with various interesting stories.
