We went to nearby restaurant, Sate Klayu that has good food and nice view, walked in the rice paddles near the area and it was very relaxing.. We took all the tours they have, Bromo, Tumpak Sewu and Paragliding which surprisingly very cheap and fun! The house is super clean, it has everything we need. The staffs are very attentive, always take care of us by WA all the time, clean our room when we are outside. They gave us earplugs so we can rest well although our room is in front of the dining room. This is the first time of my traveling in Asia, a local homestay get very detail by providing amenities like this… and they gave apple juice for free, apparently it is is the local famous drinks from Malang and Batu city. They told me they have Batik Workshop coming in but sadly we have to leave. Definitely a come back! This place is one of a kind, totally recommend :))

Located between Malang and Bromo, so it is very convenient to go from the ecolodge to the Bromo tour. Scooters can be only rented on Malang, better to take minumun 120cc if you want to travel around, for example, to Sewu waterfall. Gojek works, but in the evening there maybe problems to get one, get a car in advance or ask the owner. The owners btw are very very cool and helpful! Thank you for helping us out!!!! We love how the staff treated us, especially the owner, Annie. She was responsive to all our questions. We were very lucky that Kawah Ijen reopened the day of our stay and I first heard the confirmation from Annie. The location is already near from the port so if you will be going to Bali after staying at Bayuwanggi this is a good option. The hostel also arranged the Ijen tour for us. We will surely stay here again if ever we comeback.
