We had an amazing stay here. Maria is genuinely so sweet and kind and she goes above and beyond to make sure you feel looked after and at home. The room was super clean and so big for the price you pay and you get breakfast. Genuinely lovely people, a great location and just a really homely vibe. Absolutely recommend this stay to anyone. I absolutely loved my stay here. The best so far in Indonesia! Very clean rooms with a clear eye for details of what you need as a traveller; comfy beds, enough space for all your stuff, hot showers, a place to sit outside, and above all: amazing hosts. Agung and Tina were there for any kind of question I had around tours, transportation, the area and overall life. Tina even supported me with some health issue that I had and picked me up when I was stuck somewhere else in the rain. The children are adorable and so kind. Overall the family gave me enough space but was always available when I needed anything and there for a nice chat about life. The breakfast was amazing. Agung and Tina, you are the kind of people I meet along traveling that make my heart full and inspire me in such a positive way. 🫶🏼 Anyone who wants to stay around Senaru: Don’t think twice - this is the place to go!

The location of this property was perfect as we rented bikes through the hotel and we rode to the other side of the island every night, and the owner always was willing to lend a helping hand when parking the bikes 🫶 The breakfast was delicious and prepared quickly with fresh fruits everyday. The owner/host was lovely, he greeted us everyday and asked of our plans so he could give advice on them and help us book a boat tour! Couldn’t recommend this place more!

A very awesome homestay with a lovely family and amazing food. The room was clean and the bathroom was very nice. There were some ants but that was absolutely fine. Everyone in the family was welcoming and they even offer tours to the waterfalls and Mount Rinjani. I did not use these offers but it is nice to know. This place is a 10/10 and I recommend it 100%.

This was by far the best experience we’ve ever had—not just in a homestay but in any hotel we’ve stayed at. You’ll be welcomed by an amazing family who make you feel like you’re truly part of their own. Each day, you’ll have the opportunity to join them on unique excursions like visiting cultural villages, learning to make coconut oil from scratch with the whole family, or exploring the rice fields with their cousin. The stay also includes a delicious homemade breakfast and lunch, and if you’d like dinner, you can enjoy it at their cozy little restaurant on-site. We had an unforgettable time and already can’t wait to come back. This family has made us feel like one of their own, and we’re so grateful for their warmth and generosity. The most authentic accommodation we had on our 5 month travel through south east asia so far. Nip and Awan just opened in April 2024 and have two very nice bungalows/huts surrounded by nature, which were just build in December 2023. So everything is new and looks amazing. We stayed in the wooden hut which was so nice because the walls let air in the room and so it was always a comfortable temperature, even without an AC. The room is also equipped with a mosquito net but that was generally not a big problem. But the best thing about this accommodation is definitely the lovely hosting family, who made us feel very welcome right from the start. They organized the Rinjani Trekking for us for a very good price and know a lot about the area there, as Nip used to be a guide at Mt. Rinjani. They also provide breakfast and dinner, as there is no restaurant nearby. So I would recommend you to have a scooter there to explore the environment around the homestay (e.g. the waterfalls in Senaru). It's worth getting up early and admiring the sunrise from the terrace. We are very happy to have stayed at this place and have got to know this lovely people there. We‘ll come back!!
