Idi is the ideal host, as his English and great conversations were a highlight of our stay with him in his family home . Our room was spacious, and ex lrg bed was super comfy + ensuite bathroom was adequate. The deck overlooking the lush surrounds was a lovely place to sit, Idi served us local fruit and avocados + fried bananas as welcome treats + we had a delicious dinner while we were there also cooked by Idi .our breakfast was also great with local breads and foods. A great experience in a unique homestay .

The owners are so lovely and accommodating with wonderful ideas on things to see and do. The sunrise opportunities were bountiful in such a beautiful valley. Communication with the owner was excellent and he even arranged to meet me at a central location and organised a scooter if required and a rider to take me to the Hobbit Cave and onto my next accommodation. Shared dinner with the host and fellow guests was unique and delicious.

I didn’t take the breakfast but there was hot water available to make our coffee or tea. Mari the host was super polite and kind, she ensured that everything was going well. Mita the staff was so friendly and cheerful, making me feeling at home as soon as I arrived. I slept really well and too bad I only stayed here one night. If I ever come to Ruteng, I will def stay in this homestay.
