We absolutely loved the atmosphere of this place. Everything was clean and the view from the terrace was amazing. Make sure to catch at least one sunset from there. Also Riko and Vanda were amazing and caring hosts. We would definitelly come back!

Helmi and his wife and family are so nice. there's even a tofu restaurant small business in the front of the homestay, very cute. it's on the beach which is great, easy to rent snorkel gear (about 50k/day) and a motorbike (also about 100k/day). right next door to Blueshark diving, Dion and Jeffrey and the crew here are awesome. The snorkeling is also nice right at the reef at the property, just swim like 50-100m out (takes 5 mins). Amazing sunsets. Room is simple. A bit hot in the mornings. There's free coffee/water/tea. Bathroom is simple, just 1 bathroom shared with 3 rooms. i hope to stay again!

At good location, close to park entrance, supermarket and beach. Owner, Lea, and her staff were great. Lea, was also our guide on the tours. She was very nice, made efforts to show us many animals and helped us with other things (e.g., transport to Bunaken island in my case). She also organized a night tour on my request, which is not a standard tour and which gave us a different experience. Tours were great and we saw many different animals. Food was also good.

Die Lage ist einfach herrlich – perfekt zum Entspannen und Genießen. Das Personal war durchweg sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Transfer vom Flughafen kann problemlos organisiert werden. Es werden viele Aktivitäten angeboten: Wir haben geschnorchelt, eine Delfintour gemacht und waren fischen – alles toll organisiert und die Unterwasserwelt ist ein Highlight! Zu guter Letzt ist das Essen unglaublich lecker – man isst immer mehr als man eigentlich wollte :) den ganzen Tag über gibt es Wasser, Kaffee und Tee. Ein wirklich wunderschöner Urlaubsort!

Alex accommodated changed dates and flights etc despite Booking.coms useless customer support. The rooms have recently been refurbished, the hot water hot and everything is spotless. The view over the busy but picturesque Strait is fantastic. Having lived in Indonesia 25 years ago I can honestly say that the food is a good as any home cooked food anywhere with great variation. Sign up for the full catered option. The other house staff are equally helpful and will happily run an errand to pick up supplies as the place is a tad isolated- even they don’t ask or expect don’t forget to tip. While in the area we did some Muck snorkelling with Ibu Feronika from Rumah Selam who operate near bye-it was awesome. Feronika can also help with highland and nature park tours, plus transport to and from Manado. Can highly recommend.

Wir haben es geliebt und uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Super schöne und gepflegte Unterkunft mit Pool zum entspannen. Die beiden Inhaber sowie auch die anderen Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und haben uns bei allem geholfen. Das beste war das Essen, haben in ganz Indonesien bisher nicht so Lecker gegessen. Auch das Tauchen ist zu empfehlen, besser als die Erfahrungen die wir bisher auf den Bunaken gemacht haben. Wir hatten mit Sam einen super Guide, sehr zu empfehlen! Ganz in der Nähe der Unterkunft kann man auch schnorcheln. Sehr zu empfehlen! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen :)

I love the little villa! Perfect little getaway house. Lovely pond outside. I realized that the location didn't really suit me, but Debora and Jeremy went all the way to help me out! There's not really any restaurants in the countryside neighborhood and Debora offered to cook more of their own dinner, which was lovely! 😍🙏 Over all I had a lovely stay!

My homestay hostess Aci prepared wonderful meals that were well balanced and portions were plentiful. She spoke superb English and was instrumental in securing opportunities for snorkeling trips and all the necessary equipment which was my intended focus. The neighborhood where her homestay house is located provided a true Bunaken Island village experience. Bunaken Marine Park and boat access is right in the back yard as the property is on the water.

Communication is through translator app and the neighbours,but it works well!

I recommend beachfront, of course, it has a better view but also less noise from the roosters that are across the street. The double room has more indoor space, and big outdoor sofa bench, if that's what you need. It's right in the kampung village, so it's absolutely susceptible to more noise and activity; but it's also closer to the main pier and other restaurants. Lucky is a fantastic host, and the family puts a lot of care into the homestay. It's simple but very clean and cozy. There's many small thoughtful things about the place, it's an easy place to stay. The food is different every day, and it's easy to ask if you do/don't like something. Communication is very clear and prompt. The reef out front is a long swim before you see anything, but it's nearly the same with other places.
