The location made it easy to see all of the main sites within the townsite and is close to many great pubs and restaurants. A river walk is minutes away and there are plenty of quality shops. Highly recommend fish and chips at Matt the Millar's, just down the hill.

We enjoyed sitting outside on the swing in rhe late afternoon, with the dogs providing good company and entertainment. The grounds provided a beautiful, private setting with Cathy being within easy reach if we needed her.

Free WiFi is available. JBs was a great start to our 10-day trip. Neat the train station it was easy to check in and explore Kilkenny. Lots of cute shops and cafes on the way into town. JBs is quiet at night and beds were comfortable
