The premises were supberb and beautiful location The host is great at communication and very pleasant and very helpful . He goes above and beyond. We did not want to leave. We were so comfortable. We wished we could of stayed longer. Omg and yes, I forgot he had decafinated coffee as well bonus. The host is highly thought of by the locals We will definitely be back . Lovely generous breakfast and the accomodation was quiet at night time too, we loved the communal area and it was a short & scenic 10 minute walk to the heart of Dingle and it was great to be given a map of the area and advice on where to go upon arrival - also really close to the distillery. The animals had to be my favourite part, adorable!

We ordered the eggs benedict and the pancakes; they were dreamy. They also had a big buffet with sweets, croissants, scones, jams, and cereals. The coffee was perfect, too. They had a chocolate cake all night, which was helpful :) The room was very comfy, with everything you expect in a hotel. The shower was hot and had good pressure.

The family run An Portan Guesthouse is situated in Dún Chaoin on the edge of the Dingle Peninsula.

The rooms at An Portan are all at ground floor level and are arranged in a courtyard style. Each room has its own entrance door, en-suite bathroom,TV and tea and coffee making facilities. We had a wonderful stay at An Portán Guest House. We were met by Geraldine, who was very friendly and helpful during our stay. We had a delicious Irish breakfast (along with tea, cereal, bread and fruit). We had a lovely view at breakfast and in our room. It was a great location for us doing the Dingle Way (8 minutes away from the path). The Kruger's bar was just a few minutes away (so we could get dinner there). The room was very comfortable and quiet we had the best night sleep here. It was one of our favourite stays in Ireland.

The room was like in the photos. The breakfast was okay.

Felt very comfortable on my stay and will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.
