It's not far from the beach (15 minutes walking) and pretty close to the market and restaurants. It's a nice and quiet place, where you can have a rest after noisy big cities. Edward is very kind and he always helped whether we needed some cutlery or some advise. He also helped to book a taxi for the airport. The room is pretty spacious and clean. One time the neighbours were a little noisy, but Edward helped to solve this question. In general it's a quiet place and you can close the windows and have a really good sleep.

The property is situated as part of a lovely fine dining restaurant. The room was large,airy and very clean. The bathroom was modern with toiletries supplied. It’s in a fantastic location with the beach just a short walk away. Lots of cafes and bars to choose from just outside the hotel, however despite this it was still very peaceful at night. What stands out about this property is the host, Jack, and all the staff at the hotel. We’ve had regular communication with the host since booking. He was particularly kind when we realised we’d brought the key with us from the last hotel. He arranged for the key to be returned with no hassle on our part. The front door man and caretaker were extremely friendly and helpful. If we ever come to Candolim again I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again and would totally recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area. Thanks again for a wonderful stay 😊

David and Nicole were excellent hosts, not only giving us a history of the area, but also helping us coordinate experiences we were interested in. The even paired us with a driver who helped us navigate the area. They have a beautiful view outside every morning and the rooms were spacious and comfortable while still keeping some of the original design from the 1600's. We'd go back in a heartbeat.

The Panaji Kadamba Bus Station is just 800 metres away. We had the most delightful stay at Afonso. Clifton was the most gracious host and he made sure everything we needed was quickly taken care of, as well as providing great local recommendations. He has the most beautiful and well maintained garden and relaxing rooftop area.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Great location. Spacious room with character and french doors to a balcony. Staff were friendly and helpful with good sightseeing advise and they efficiently organise airport transport Breakfast was good and especially impressed with a packed breakfast when we were leaving early for a flight.
