And there is a reason for this - this was the best homestay I stayed at in India and it wasn't even close! The family are so warm and kind. I ate dinner and breakfast both days and the food was AMAZING. Jubia is a talented cook. Rooms are spotless and a good size with a balcony. The only negative thing you will see people mention in their reviews is the homestays distance from Munnar. But not me! Munnar is nice, but it is BUSY. Buses, cars, people, noise, honking. This homestay is so picturesque and quiet all you can hear is birdsong. I wanted a peaceful stay in the western ghats and this is exactly what I got. The bus to Munnar is 35rupees and takes 40 minutes with unreal views all the way and they are every 10 minutes so getting there is easy. There is lots to do in the area and the family can help organise excursions too if that is what you're after. I was fortunate enough on one of mine to see 5 wild elephants drinking in the river which will stay with me forever. Thank you Jubia, Jaan and family for an amazing stay. Her food is the best we had, she helped with transport to her homestay, for a tuk tuk to take us sight seeing one day and was very quick to respond to any questions. The place was perfect for us. We needed a few days down time where we could chill and do things at our own pace in a peaceful environment.

Abin and his mom was very helpful. Right after the booking he contacted me on whatsapp and he arranged all our transportations plans around Munnar etc. Their home is gorgeous. They have a small flower nursery in the garden and forest starts right where garden ends. Room was new clean and spacious. Abin's mom takes care of the food and other daily stuff. She is an excellent cook and she is very kind. Everybody speaks perfect English, so you will have no problems.

The hosts are very nice and prepare delicious breakfast for us. We enjoyed a great stay at Green Tea View, definitely recommend it.

At the homestay, all units are equipped with bed linen and towels. Amazing. We had the warmest welcome from Benny and his family. The room is lovely with a balcony that overlooks beautiful scenery. It’s so picturesque. The food is without doubt the best we have tasted. But it was the warm hospitality and kindness that made this stay perfect. Benny shared his knowledge of the land with us, and Sheeja shared fresh homemade food beyond our expectations. We are traveling around Kerala, but I can’t imagine that we will find anywhere that surpasses Sceva’s Garden. It is near the tea estates and trips can be arranged, but in all honesty our favourite time was sitting on the balcony looking at the view.

I enjoyed the meals and the thoughtful touches around the place: the artwork, the organic toiletries, masala biscuits with my chai. I had my own driver, so moving around was easy and coming back felt like coming home after a long day exploring.

But what is making a true difference is the kindness of the family that welcomes us. They are very generous, attentive, smiling. You feel at home and more. We were very pleased to stay with them. They can arrange taxi, rickshaw, spice garden visit, food delivery, homemade breakfast…
