The best part about my trip to Sikkim was my stay at The Sherpa's Abode. The view from the room was fantastic, the staff were also very cordial and warm especially, Vinay, Savita and Suraj. The food that was served by them was always warm and fresh and felt like we were eating at a relative's home. The host Nima Uncle is such a sweet and kind person. He shared his life stories with us which were so inspiring, he helped out with arranging taxi transportation and also gave hacks on taking care at higher altitudes. He went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, which is so rare to see these days.

My children also enjoyed the place and the staff here were soft spoken and child friendly too. The food was also good be it paneer tikka or dal fry. Their signature dish was really good.

The food stood out the most - flavorful, fresh, and far better than what most homestays offer. Overall, a stay that exceeded expectations, and I would happily return.

The host family were very welcoming and dedicated all the time during our stay. We very much appreciated their warm support and attention. Also they cooked us nice homemade breakfast, dinner and tea coffee. We felt very comfortable being here with the staffs, very clean room and bathroom. Also nice mountain views from the balcony brought us the pleasure to be there.
