All furniture and bed are of high quality, we had a best sleep for the trip here. The lady stayed up late to welcome us after a midnight arrival which made you feel welcome immediately. We learnt a lot about the country and its cities naming root and stuff. Followed her recommendation and love all of them.

We stayed in the Clubhouse. Stunning views, lovely kitchen to cook a delicious dinner. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The springs were magical and the restaurant (seafood soup!!) was delicious. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we had the northern lights on New Year’s Eve. Located in the calm Thingholt neighbourhood, this family-owned guest house is in Reykjavik is just 450 metres from the shopping Laugavegur Street. Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Centre is 1.2 km away. There is free WiFi, a communal kitchen and free laundry facilities. The staff were very friendly, the atmosphere was cozy and homely. The room was small but comfortable enough. Breakfast was lovely, simple but healthy and nice. Their Icelandic Kefir is delicious. The location is very central and quite near that famous church. They let us store our luggage before checking in and after checking out which was very helpful

Eric the Red is a perfectly located Guest House in Reykjavik just 60m/200ft from Hallgrímskirkja Church which is the biggest church and single most central point in Reykjavik, we are in short walking distance from all the best Reykjavik has to offer, whether it’s Museums, Restaurants, Cafés, Bars, Shopping Streets, Parks, the BSi bus station, Geothermal Swimming pools or Lake Tjörnin, and yet positioned in a quiet area of the center. Everything about the stay was excellent. The location was perfect and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
