The accommodation offers a private Spa, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. I liked my room but the lighting was a bit harsh and I didn't find a hook for my bath towel. I would have liked a softer bed and the linens were tucked in so that they didn't reach up to cover my shoulders so that is an easy fix. I would have liked a door between the bathroom and bedroom. I loved the proximity to the Duomo and shopping and taxi stand but the taxis have no place to wait for you right at the building and one that Dario called for me just drove by and stopped far down the street and picked up someone else before I could get to him. I went to the taxi stand in front of the Duomo instead which has a lot of taxis. Dario and Mateo were great. As a woman traveling alone I do prefer to stay in places that have someone available to let me in at all hours in case I stay out late but that was not an issue on this visit. The shower worked great and had good pressure and hot water. The towels could be softer. The pillow was a bit hard so one hard and one soft would be nice. I loved the automatic shades. I was thrilled to have YouTube available and English-speaking tv.

The place was 10 minutes away from Milano Centrale (perfect for early flights when you need to go to the bus in the very morning). The metro station is 3 minutes from the place end it is very easy to get to the city centre/main monuments in Milan. The hosts were very helpful and shared instructions before our stay and made sure we received them. They were very fast with their replies and made sure we got in with no issues (checked in already at 12:00 and dropped out suitcases in the room). The view is also pleasant, especially in the sunset. The beads were comfortable, there were some drinks and snacks for extra charge (tea for free), set of toothbrush and toothpaste in the bathroom which was a nice touch. The room was accessible by an elevator which was nice with suitcases.

Set in the centre of Lecco, Villa del Cigno has a peaceful location even thought it is just 800 metres from the main square. It has a garden with children's playground and offers free parking and free WiFi throughout the property. The villa and the room was so authentic and beautiful.There was a parking lot in the garden. Viviana was so helpful, brought to the car umbrellas since it was raining and explained the area in details on the map.
