The room so spacious, private onsen was the best experience, all clean, we could use dining room with amazing view and the host super friendly.

Loved the common areas - it was nice to have a kitchen with tables. Our room had traditional Japanese beds on the floor and tatami matting, which the kids loved.

The staff were a true highlight of the stay. they were all so incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything was just great and we plan to return next season.

It's a 10 min drive from hakuba centre and the main ski slopes but they provide a handy shuttle service. After skiing, they brought us to a beautiful onsen in the mountains to relax.

They are both deeply passionate about Tokoname artists and will be able to give you a lot of information about them. They delivered an authentic experience of living in a Japanese household. The rooms are cute, clean, and comfortable too!

Featuring a shared bathroom with a shower and free toiletries, certain units at the homestay also provide guests with a terrace. At the homestay, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels. I usually don’t write reviews but this place is so good that I had no option but to write. This is a house. A proper house with a lovely backyard and cleanliness of highest standards. However, the real charm is the landlady. She is extremely polite and generous to the extent that she goes all the way to accommodate the guest’s needs. From little games to Onsen excursions, just staying at this property should be a reason good enough to visit Gifu. Finally, the food. I would recommend you to wake up super hungry because the landlady puts out a feast every morning! She is a cook par excellence and each dish (including the serveware) has a story to tell. It’s amazing how she manages everything on her own. There is nothing to not like about this place. I visited Gifu on a work trip but now this place has become my reason to return to Gifu. The city has an asset in this place and it truly shows you what Japan is when you take away the neon lights.
