The grand piano in the gymnasium is still very much alive, and if you know how to play even just a little, the whole place echoes and sings! All of the staff members is so friendly and helpful that will make you feel you're home than just a customer passing through. Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. Please pay in cash or by card upon check-in. Guests under 12 years old are exempt from the lodging tax. This is a delightful guesthouse, only a short walk from the bus station. Loved the common areas - it was nice to have a kitchen with tables. Our room had traditional Japanese beds on the floor and tatami matting, which the kids loved.

Provided all toiletries and exceptionally clean rooms.

Lovely house, with all you need at your disposal, coupled with the best landlady on the planet. If I ever go back tu Gifu, no need to even look for a different place. Really went straight to my heart!

Full of antiques and curios, and very near the station. The bakery next door opens at 8am for the best breakfast, don’t miss it. The supermarket opens at 10am till 6pm and there aren’t many restaurants around :-). Gold base to explore the Nasenko trail as you can do day trips, I wish we had done that instead of moving everyday, you can take the train to the stations where the tracks start.

The air-conditioned accommodation is 7.9 km from Mt. Ena Weston Park. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and full-day security for guests. We stayed here during our trip to Magomejuku. The living room, stocked with plenty of board games, was a delightful bonus for our family. The bunk beds were a hit with my kids as well, though naturally, they weren’t as comfortable or spacious as those in a good hotel. Walking through the beautifully preserved old streets in the neighborhood was also a real joy.

The property features free bikes, garden and parking on-site among other facilities. With quiet street views, this accommodation provides a balcony. Each room is equipped with a terrace with garden views and free WiFi. Exceptional clean place with fulll facilities in the apartment,location is excellent. Highly recommended.Am so impressed by the place.Parking is cheap too

The staff were very friendly and helpful with great recommendations for food and things to do

Hosts are friendly, warm, accomodating and attentive. Very clean and homely. Lively pets around, which was a welcomed change :) A 30 min walk from Gifu JR, hosts happily dropped us to the station at checkout. I believe you can organise pick up and drop off with the host. Regardless, a 30 min walk on flat ground is completely possible and should not deter anyone. However there is a local line which is 13 min walk from the house.
