In the evenings, after all the tourists have left, you can take a peaceful walk near the water and feel like you have the entire island to yourself. The guest house we stayed at was fantastic! Traveling with our 5-month-old, we felt incredibly welcomed. Our room was huge, especially compared to other accommodations in Japan, and the common area downstairs was spacious and inviting. They offered a mini buffet for both breakfast and dinner, which was just perfect for us. The atmosphere was relaxed and laid-back. The guest house is conveniently located halfway between the ferry terminal and the gondola. In the morning, we enjoyed a lovely walk through the park to the gondola and managed to beat the crowds. Highly recommend! They also has two onsen options which you essentially book just for your family.

Everything about this property was perfect. My family of 4 had a private room with 4 bunks and our own bathroom. The restaurant attached was fantastic and convenient. The train station is a ten minute walk through a beautiful quiet neighborhood.

Fuji Grand Higashihiroshima Shopping Mall is 3.3 km away and Youme Town Gakuen Shopping Mall is 3.6 km from the guest house. Overall this was better than some private accommodations I have stayed in the past. The hostel room only has 6 beds. The bathrooms were clean and specious. Really enjoyed. Bed was nice after sleeping on wood tile for 3 days.

We had an excellent 3 night stay here! It's a beautiful big traditional Japanese house with the host living in a separate house next door. There are 3 rooms in the house so there is the potential to be sharing with other guests. Toilets, shower rooms and kitchen are shared. Our room was huge with futons, a table, and sliding doors that opened up to a view of the garden. It was lovely to be able to hear the river rushing by right beside the house, and cool to stay in a quiet little neighborhood. The #29 bus is very easy to catch to and from Hiroshima station and it runs super frequently, so it wasn't a problem being slightly out from the city centre. We had a very relaxed and peaceful stay here and would definitely come back again. Thank you to our wonderful and friendly host Kengo!
