The guest house features family rooms. Everything is perfect! The room, the staff, the location, the cleanliness everything is excellent! The staff even help with our luggage climbing the stairs to our room. Coin operated Laundry was just next to our room the location was so beautiful and walkable to tourist spot. Would definitely be back if we visit again!

The location was close to everything. We house and room were very spacious and everything was clean and well equipped. But the absolute best was the hostess. Linda was always very helpful, she gifted us with amazing pictures of Kyoto and shared all the best tips with us. We loved to stay here.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Azukiya is a recently renovated guest house located in Kyoto, 700 metres from Shoren-in Temple. A hot tub and a bicycle rental service are available for guests. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, full-day security and currency exchange for guests. Everything was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. The host was delightful, the breakfasts were delicious, and the view from the balcony was beautiful. The location is excellent – it’s much less crowded than central Kyoto, yet still very close to the main areas and Gion, plus its easily accessilbe by subway. I highly recommend this place, and if we come back to Kyoto, we will definitely try to stay here again for a longer visit.

Breakfast was also tasty and kindly brought into the room daily. Emiko-san and her family were very welcoming and accommodating. She even gave me a ride to Kyoto Station on my last day and always checked on me daily to see how I was. Very kind family. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit!
